Created by Jamey Giddens and produced by Will Packer, "Ambitions" is a multigenerational family saga that explores love, power and politics in Atlanta. It centers around lawyer Stephanie Carlisle, the wife of Atlanta Mayor Evan Lancaster, and her rivalry with Amara Hughes, a prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney's Office who has just arrived in Atlanta with her husband, Titus. Stephanie and Amara used to be best friends who find themselves combatants in both their personal and professional lives. Stephanie's ambitious husband, Evan Lancaster, dreams of being Georgia's first African-American governor and will do anything to get there. Amara's husband, Titus, is the in-house counsel for a big pharmaceutical company fighting a class-action suit brought by Stephanie's powerful family.

See more 09/13/2020 I enjoyed it, couldn't stop watching this show , Looking forward to the new season 😍 See more 12/28/2019 So the accredited actors who was casted do a good job holding on to a series that has good potential to be another Black Dynasty. I found it compelling, intriguing and wanting more. OWN may have lured me with this show. One actress who challenges me to return is, the actress portraying Bella Tru. She's not convincing as an inspiring woman trying to become a fashion designer. She's not trying at all hard and isn't winning me over as an actress. Her storyline is good, typical, but her acting makes me wanna go to the bathroom *Yawn*. Its not a believable fictional story but it has some itch that made me binge watch Season 1... and now waiting for a Season 2... okay OWN, I'm waiting *tick-tock* See more 12/11/2019 It was very good.
