From the beginning to the end this series great.

I hate that this series is cancelled. I really got into the characters and the story line was really good. Shame on Showtime for cancelling a really good series. I will cancel them as soon as Ozark is done.

It's amazing that so many people, critics and audience alike, seemed to miss the beauty of this show. Sad to see good shows killed off.

just awful. stopped after episode 3, tried to sleep with it continuuing, would wake up to yet another predictiable trope through episode 6 or so. what a waste.

Good story, great acting in a variety of ways. The grunting cow Isaac sceen was a bit much in my opinion. Lots of unanswered questions and open plot lines. Story will have to go from catching the bad guys to catching the good bad guys. Lots of material for a second season. Showtime should bring season 2.

American Rust was an amazing show. Each character's side stories are so interesting and relatable. Small town Pennsylvania really represents a good portion of America. Jeff Daniels was the perfect fit for Del. This show reminded me, in a way, of Breaking Bad, in the sense that under the right (or wrong) circumstances, anyone could be pushed to their limit and do things outside of their character. Show felt very real and the acting was superb. Really hoping it gets renewed for another season!

Panned by pro reviewers who seem to have never watched more than the pilot and needlessly dwelled on Mare of Easttown comparisons. American Rust resonates especially for those who left the Rust Belt but still miss its beautiful, melancholy vibe.

Worth watching!! It's gets more interesting episode after episode. Waiting on season 2.

Overall good show. Although it could have cut out Isacci's behaviour as I found this just a distraction. My own opinion. Looking forward to next series.
