I think fans give this show more credit then its due. But it hands down does try to be different compared to other SW properties so that's a start.

Andor needs some time to unfold and take effect, but then the series scores across the board with its much more mature storytelling, character development, etc. The surprise in the Star Wars franchise for a long time.

Truly extraordinary. Andor provides not only some of the best TV in the Star Wars universe, but also some of the best TV out there, period. It's far darker and grittier than anything else I've seen in Star Wars. Watching it, you'll almost feel like you're living among them. The characters are deeper and more complex. The plot is riveting. Everything about the series has been meticulously crafted, with top-notch talent responsible for every facet of the show--from the writing and directing to casting and music. Don't miss this series. I can't say enough good things about it.

It's much more enjoyable if you either haven't seen, or have managed to forget the events of Rogue One. I was in that boat, and enjoyed rediscovering some of these characters. They are given plenty of screen time in this show to give some much-needed details, making their portrayals in Rogue One feel rushed in comparison. The show can be a little slow at times, but the plot is there chugging along in the background. It does suffer from the sin of flashbacks, but does them better than some. My favorite thing about Andor, though, was getting to see the everyday lives of everyday people in the Star Wars universe.

Criminally underrated even at 86% likes. This is, by far, the best written and executed Star Wars property, bar none.

Absolutely loved this series. It might feel like a slow burner, but it pays off in the end! A lot of the new "disney star wars" content has completely lacked a good narrative, good character development, and grounded / believable circumstances. Andor really delivers on all of this and then some. There wasn't a moment in the show where I was throwing my hands in the air at any stupid writing and/or forcably inserted realworld politics, this was just an enjoyable and engaging bit of star wars content that I would highly, highly recommended to anyone out there looking for good star wars content worth watching.

The only good thing Disney Star Wars has ever produced, genuinely some of the best writing, characters and sets that we've seen from a TV show since Chernobyl. Bravo.

I have watched everything from the prequels, OG trilogy to the animated series etc. since I can remember. This show has some of the BEST writing/story telling in all of Star Wars BUT this show starts out WAAAAAY to slow. I literally had to force myself to watch the first 3 episodes in order to get into this series. I shouldn't have to force myself to watch a show, the show should automatically draw me in during the first 2 episodes. It took about halfway for me to actually look forward and enjoy the show.... This show definitely does NOT feel like Star Wars, its definitely something on it's own that happens in the Star War universe. Nevertheless, this show did have the best writing out of Star Wars to date. Besides that, everyone should give this show a chance. Just gotta grind through the first few episodes.

One of the best Star Wars themed contents out there. This is a very simple and humble story, like most in this universe should be, amazing characters and even more amazing development.
