A group of local animal control workers' lives are complicated by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not. Leading the crew is Frank, an opinionated, eccentric animal control officer who may not have gone to college but is still the most well-read person in the room. In his past life as a cop, Frank tried to expose corruption in his department, but his efforts got him fired, leaving him cynical and curmudgeonly. Despite his rough exterior, he is blessed with an almost superhuman ability to understand animals.

C P @TheHonestReview Feb 16 This show was decent over the first 2 seasons. It has always lacked a true identity because it lacks any real punchy humor to be considered a comedy and doesn't have deep enough characters to be a drama. It's another cookie cutter, poorly written dramedy show created to fit corporate approved grade A pg-13 humor. They used many of the over used themes including separate will-they-wont-they story lines, creating terrible gimmicky romantic relationships while creating obviously good-fit main characters that just cant seem to line up timing in their romantic lives. They also introduced some douchebag home squatter character in season 3 that is equal parts bad writing and over acting and poisons every scene he's in. See more Jim B @RT52973177 Jan 20 No better than seasons 1 and 2, which are mediocre. See more Jennifer F @JFINDLAY Dec 30 It's hilarious, and I'm hooked. I love the show's endearing characters and its fresh take on workplace friendships. See more Ed R @JustcallmeER Mar 16 Forced comedy with no originality. See more David N @Null98115 03/12/2025 The first two seasons were fun and clever. Season three is an exercise in every single episode jumping the shark. Someone put this show down so it's no longer in pain. See more Charlie W @RT73270443 01/06/2025 Saw it for the first time last night. I liked the absurdity of the wild animals in random places in the middle of the city. Not sure yet about the characters, but the male lead has a certain attractive yet slightly unhinged persona that makes me want to watch more of the shows. See more Read all reviews
