Things kick off with Nick (Terry Crews) landing a job as a sports anchor at a local TV station, and the need for Suzanne (Essence Atkins) to adapt to Nick's new gig. Other happenings involve Lindsey (Teala Dunn) as she comes of age, including her interest in boys, her attempt at passing the driving test and her first exposure to drugs. And Kevin (Coy Stewart) deals with obstacles of his own, including trouble after he lands a modeling deal, issues with a bully and a Valentine's Day faux pas.
