Ares is carried by a strong lead performance that roots the craziness going on around that character in some emotional reality. And that's always the key to horror shows like this.

Audience Reviews for Ares: Season 1

  • Nov 13, 2020
The acting was c grade at best, boring, no plot lines, just all around terrible.
  • Apr 23, 2020
The first episode is intriguing, the second anticipates all the flaws in a point that we know how bad is going to be. Some excellent actors, good photography and fair direction don't compensate a non-convincing screenplay. Not worth it, at all.
  • Apr 05, 2020
    Incredible storytelling!
  • Mar 14, 2020
The plot seems very interesting in the beginning, but that's just it. Really bad acting, bad lines and lack of character development.
  • Feb 26, 2020
    Worth watching until the end.
  • Feb 20, 2020
A way to pass a few hours if you like jump-scare type shows. This show tries to be original in how it mixes quasi-satanism with a blunt portrayal of sociopathic capitalist elites but falls flat with wafer thin characters. The main character, in spite of the actor's ability, was as interesting and easy to swallow as the fake eggs being thrown up by the characters throughout the series.
  • Feb 19, 2020
The main character carries the story. But all the other other characters are flat, uninteresting and I can't care what happens to them. The story itself is very far fetched, unbelievable and simply not interesting or even surprising. Waste of my time.
  • Feb 18, 2020
Boring. Main character was so repulsive. Bad acting and no likeable characters what so ever.
  • Feb 15, 2020
The worst series I ever seen. Will never get that 4 hours of my life back
  • Feb 12, 2020
The plot turned out to be quite interesting, unfortunately, the cast don't live up to the expectation we find a lot of actors like the one portraying Rosa who seems to be trained for the theater and not for cinema or tv series, it's pretty obvious that she's overacting and ruins the scene atmosphere.
