Very one dimensional characters and the forced interracial romance felt like it was crowbarred in by Amazon executives. Around the World in 80 Days is a fresh take on the timeless classic with a few tweaks to suit a modern audience. The cast is phenomenal, especially David Tenant, who makes every second he's in the spotlight an absolute delight. The writing, directing, cinematography, and production design are all brilliant and bring back memories of a time when TV productions weren't the crap streaming services spit out nowadays. I enjoyed this show immensely and can't wait for season 2, which I'm going will take our trio on more captivating adventures.
