The show robbed every one of their ability to ignore a city whose cultural influence continues to be stolen by every other city around the world

In some scenes... the weight of community ties seems suffocating; in others, it's evident that none of the characters would survive without one another. The distance between those two points is what Atlanta mines, and what resonates most powerfully.

Mesmerising and shape-shifting as bottled smoke.

Atlanta is still good and still roughshod, but there's a tougher texture to this season.

Glover has conceptualized "Atlanta" so that he can do with it whatever he wants; he's not bound by traditional sitcom rules or limitations. That's the fun of it. It's his ride, and where he goes is anyone's guess. But it will be worth the trip.

Atlanta is often as unsettling as it is funny.

Jul 2, 2019 | Full Review…

The most striking thing about Atlanta is how it surprises you. An episode about absolutely nothing can speak volumes and in a split second, you can go from laughing out loud to stunned silence.

While the second season's episodes were somewhat disconnected on a narrative level, the cumulative effect was immense. For a show that breaks so many rules, its themes are as old as capitalism.

In this show, anything is possible, which allows it to take detours that can lead to deeper meaning.

    Don't represent the south.

Donald is a genius. Every episode has more creativity in it than whole seasons of other shows.

A phenominal TV show backed up by its phenominal cast and well written script. The second season of this series is more hard-hitting than the first with its better plots and ultimately better production. The episode "Teddy Perkins" in particular stood out as outstanding to me.

Funny, weird, deep and some of the best TV ever.

Debatably better than the first season, "Robbin Season" is weird, funny, and interesting from the start. The show touches on so many different genres, and makes them all work. Some episodes are full on comedy, some horror, but each delightful in their own way. If you don't watch the whole season, at least make sure to watch the episode about Teddy Perkins. It alone is an amazing piece of film, that keeps you horrified, yet unable to take your eyes off the screen.

Atlanta continues to succeed based on the incredible efforts of its directors, writers, and cast. It nimbly juggles multiple genres and tones all while exploring black life in capitalist America.
  • Oct 09, 2018
While it maintains originality and has some great episodes there are several that feel like filler.

luego de la gran primera parte pensabamos que esta estaria por debajo, pero para nada, excelente. si nos apuran, diria que estuvo mejor que la anterior, un genio donald glover

Deeper and more intense than its predecessor, Atlanta season 2 offers more character development and a more creative product from creator Donald Glover.
  • May 25, 2018
some episodes were weird and/or boring. not as consistently funny. i frequently put myself in the shoes of the characters when watching movies or shows, doing so in this show made me angry and aggravated at the dumbness he had to deal with. not necessary a bad thing for the show, but i didn't like it (1 viewing)
