Feb 06, 2023An amazing anime! Has a great sense of world building, characters are 4 dimensional and the opening theme song is epic and fantastic. It has a strong script with excellent action sequences and spectacular dialogue. A must see!

Dec 24, 2022Awesome way to introduce the audience to this broken world with great storytelling and amazing visuals.

Dec 13, 2022A very impressive anime that despite some frustrating anime tropes (common type of characters, dialogue that over explains everything, overdramatic moments) go way above the usual trendy anime. There is a lot to like there, first the animation is breathtaking, it's very well drawn, and the designs inspired by medieval Europe makes everything pretty nice to look at, and the Titans are grotesque in the best way. The action scenes take full advantage of the high quality and fluid animation, giving you acrobatics and nail-biting moments. The story starts strong this season, but what makes the season memorable is how helpless it is. We are reminded non-stop how the stakes are high, how desperate the characters are in front of the menace, a lot of characters are introduced to just be killed in the next episode. With nothing going well to the heroes, the outcomes are always unpredictable. Even the end of the season barely gives you any hope on if the heroes have any chance to win.

Aug 10, 2022Although the protagonist can be a little annoying and stubborn sometimes, this is a very good anime. The story and introduction of characters is interesting to watch. And the animation looks very good!

Jul 23, 2022One of my favourite animes! Absolutely loving it! The story might seem pretty straightfoward at first. Some people hide behind huge walls protecting them from man-eating giants. But as the story progresses it gets more complex. Hajime Isayama has created a cruel world full of mysteries. The protagonists know as little as the audience and many nagging questions are answered only step by step. Every step is a revelation. The plot twists are a real surprise and not far-fetched at all. Everything makes sense and contributes to the story unlike Disney's "Star Wars" where you keep constantly frowning and asking yourself what the hell is going on. Quite a few people would describe the protagonists as unlikeable and not approachable. But you shouldn't forget that it's a savage world they are born into and it's all about survival of the fittest just like in "The Walking Dead". The scenes are very gory and I'm glad that they havn't been cut out because it underlines the brutality of this world.
