Gadd’s writing and performance are more interested in revealing to the viewer why we hurt ourselves and how vast a shadow the ordeal of trauma casts. Go to Full Review

Fine import with not just one, but three emotional payoffs. Go to Full Review

This Netflix series phenom that no one can stop talking about stars an astonishing Richard Gadd as a Scottish comic who shapes his life as the victim of a stalker (a dynamite Jessica Gunning) into a twisted spellbinder that deserves serious Emmy love. Go to Full Review

I cannot possibly recommend this show enough. Richard Gadd, from the bottom of my heart thank you for being so vulnerable in your writing and creating something so vulnerable to share with the world. Go to Full Review

A story based on true events that shocks, surprises, and becomes increasingly disturbing as the episodes progress thanks to its strong performances and the authenticity of the case. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Balancing moments of dark humour with unflinching emotional depth, Baby Reindeer is a raw and haunting portrayal of vulnerability and resilience. Go to Full Review

Timothy P @timop1919 4d It is very good but also annoying. I just kept screaming for this guy to grow some balls and tell her to leave him alone, report her to police or tell others she is stalking him. He brings every ounce of trouble on himself and it's very difficult to watch. See more Ella T @Ellllla May 18 Should come with a trigger warning!! It seemed like a comedy piece, and I was in the mood for something light-hearted. So this seemed like a good option. It is not light-hearted. And I knew only a short way in what way it was headed (if you are closely acquainted with trauma you can't not see it) but by then I was invested in the character and it was too late to bail. Very accurate account of trauma - didn't realise some of the thoughts explored as a consequence were so universal.... was confronting but deeply validating. See more tm11999 M @tm11999 May 1 the gadd guy is simply not acting, he's a closeted gay who hates himself and blames females. stupid writing, stupid people on blast. from the UK, so it's easy to understand why caucasian brits are allowing their country to become a sharia country. avoid this creepy effeminate crapola. go weed wack the back fenceline instead. See more Chrissy O @AnytownUSAwoman Apr 23 It started out interesting, kept me intrigued. Then ended very flat. Seems like the writers were trying to go for a deep and meaningful message, but weren't intelligent enough to pull it off. The character development relies on shock value and easy answers. Very vapid See more Jim S @Sharkmiester Apr 15 Strange and disturbing, but in a good way, if that makes sense. This interestingly dark series takes you to places you are not expecting and leaves you thinking about it for a long time. See more Elena F @ElenaF708 Mar 16 An intense watch. I remember I had to take a break mid-episode at one point because I was so disturbed. I watched it straight after release and wasn’t surprised when it went on to generate so much controversy. Highly memorable writing, acting and directing. Some ethical issues perhaps in the way the story was told. See more Read all reviews
