Main character gets held at gunpoint, proceeds to use the perpetrator as a resource. Then she sees a guy kill someone and proceeds to go into business with him, gets herself in even further, lets him take her out. The main character is portrayed as someone who has no other choice but to carouse with criminals, yet she chooses again and again to engage; goes to a club and physically fights a woman who betrayed her early on.
