So much to work with but just badly written. This period of Australian history is well worth a series that last a dozen seasons. See more Alex C @AJC8907 01/12/2022 Engaging series. The founding of Australia as a penal colony is fertile ground for drama but the series goes deeper than that. It delves into the mindsets of these various characters, their motivations and beliefs and why they behave the way they do. You feel you can understand everyone even when you completely disagree with their actions. The only downside is the series was left unfinished.
