Hughe J @Hughe 1h Beastars Season 3 (S3) is a Japanese anime released on streaming in two parts with the first airing December 2024 and the final episodes airing March 2026. S3 continues the story of this world where animals walk and talk and live in a society that has carnivores and herbivores coexisting. The original season focused on Legoshi (male grey wolf), Haru (female white rabbit) and Louis (male deer). Both males had romantic interest in Haru and it was interesting seeing how the episodes played out. S3 however had a bunch of different plot points which pushed some main characters like Haru to the back which was a shame. With so many plot threads to unravel none of them felt fleshed out and honestly a lot of dialog didn't make sense. The animation was still gorgeous and the fight scenes were still satisfying, but everything felt rushed and unfinished, especially that ending. S3 limped to the finish line after two really good seasons so this for me was a bit of a disappointment. See more kaila L @RT08067148 Mar 12 I loved the final season! I loved the whole show so much. I wish there was at least one more season but other than that it was amazing. I would have liked there to be more clips about the future after what happens at the end. Other than that this was amazing, probably the most underrated anime I've watched. The hate is so unnecessary. I think for this season they did a great job with introducing new characters, and showing the old. I saw a lot of people hating on Haru's design this season, because she looks to childish. But for me I liked it better because it really shows how much smaller than the others she is. This is probably my favorite season out of all of the other seasons, I recommend. Overall the third season plays well into the rest of the story with my only gripe being that the ending feels slightly like one of those endings that tries to quickly tie all loose ends. Overall I’d rate it 8.5/10 and definitely recommend it to anyone wanting an anime with characters that are easy to fall in love with. See more Jack T @Temporalson Mar 8 I really wanted to give season 3 a higher rating however the finale didn’t really have me as enthusiastic as season 1&2 did. I found a lot of the plots from the manga had been cut from the anime, with entire characters not even making it to screen. But what makes it even stranger is there are also entire new plots which were never in the manga that replaced the plot threads that had been cut. The ending fell flat with the plot threads which Paru set up in the manga never making it to the screen, resulting in dialogue which hints to things that don’t really end up happening (like Legoshi learning to fight with Kue). Over all I feel like if you’re expecting it to be like the manga you’ll be disappointed, but if you go in without that expectation it’s a fine watch.
