Dilettante 7 Feb 17 Literally Fantastic. Sounded dumb, but the reviews were great so gave it a go. Wouldn't have missed it now, may end up binge-watching the whole thing again. Beautiful writing, deeply moving and intelligently formulated, occasionally funny, with great production values, and, most of all, a terrific cast who make you believe, and care, that things really do go bump in the night. and that sometimes you have to go beyond being human to understand the depths of humanity. More than anything I've ever seen in a TV series, it had me shaking my head and saying,"Wow!" at the end of many episodes. Recommended? Hell, it should be mandatory. Although the CGI for the werwolf was not very sophisticated, the acting and plotting was great, and I found out that Scify Channel's series was very close to the original stories. Very enjoyable!
