Being Human: Series 3 Photos

Tv Season Info

Following the tumultuous events of series 2, this third series sees the group move into an old dilapidated guest house in Barry Island, South Wales. A change of scenery doesn't solve all their problems however, and it soon becomes clear that Mitchell in particular, can run but he can't hide. Also this series, Annie finds herself trapped in purgatory, and two self-styled vampire hunters, MacNair (Robson Green) and Tom (Michael Socha) appear on the scene ready to cause havoc.

Good to know that, after a year's absence, it's still one of the very best shows on television.

Being Human can never be accused of taking things slowly. When creator Toby Whithouse performs writing duty the episodes are usually jam packed, but even on that basis the start of season three sees us really hit the ground running.

Series three has got off to a scary, funny and moving start while also introducing a whole new rabble of characters, reinforcing my belief that Toby Whithouse is one of the best writers in television today, in any genre.

Green brings a great deal of class and gravitas to the show, plain and simple. He's got an intense screen presence that screams out "Inside this guy is an animal that cannot wait to get out."

The mix of humor and horror is unparalleled, and the bonds of friendship between these supernatural denizens feel authentic.

Somehow scary and funny and sexy all at once. A Being Human specialty.

As preposterous as this sounds, Being Human benefits from being reasonably self-aware as well as intelligent in the questions it asks.
