Tv Season Info

The fourth and final season of this drama series presents a number of challenges to newlyweds Nora (Kristen Hager) and Josh (Sam Huntington), with the biggest of these coming after Josh's werewolf wakes up in the woods next to a blonde who isn't his wife. Meanwhile, Aidan (Sam Witwer) has his hands full with son Kenny (Connor Price) now ruling the Boston vampires and ex-wife Suzanna (Katharine Isabelle) returning as a bloodsucker with a dark mission and a tragic secret. As for Sally (Meaghan Rath), she has new magic powers, but every time she uses them she travels back in time. In the present, the flatmates face having to move on when the house they rent is put up for sale.

This beautifully ridiculous show that at one point literally had Amish vampires wrapped up in cocoons in a barn has turned out to be one of the most emotionally gripping pieces of television I've had the privilege to watch.

The finale touched on a little of everything. It was like a cake made with only the essential ingredients and then topped with icing (the good cream cheese kind, not that overly sugary crap) and served to fans on a fancy dish.

It wasn't hard to say goodbye, because the series left on its own terms. But we're still sad to watch these wonderful monsters go.

Being Human's relative happy ending felt hastily thrown together and surprisingly unearned.

Being Human was able to bow out gracefully. If TV shows had souls, then Being Human's would be greeted with the biggest and shiniest door it could possibly receive.

Given the choice between an overly happy -- read: sappy -- ending that gives everyone exactly what they want, I'll take a bit of bittersweet if there's depth and meaning behind the loss, and I think Being Human nailed it there.

Each season, Being Human has been able to reinvent itself with stories fresh and completely different than anything being done on the other crop of supernatural shows that have popped up around it.

Best series Ever ... sad to see they only stopped it at season 4 ... lot of potential in this series. Absolutely worth the watch.

why oh why was it dropped ???
  • May 12, 2014
Although Season four seemed rushed, the depth in the characters and the original plot lines kept me glued to this show from Season one.

This started off....I would say slow but too fast. I think they tried to shove too much into There is just so much you can fit into one episode till you can tell it was rushed. But the last 2 episodes they nailed. Still it was a bit shaky. But the series finale got to me emotionally and shows rarely do that to me. I definitely can picture re watching that series.

I prefer the British version. George was just a more human / more likable character. Granted the UK version went down the hill by it's third season...
