Better with You: Season 1 (2010-2011)

Critic Consensus: Better With You isn't a groundbreaking comedy and it doesn't take many risks, but it features a cast of comedy veterans that jell to make the show more amusing than not.

Tv Season Info

A sitcom about the relationships among three couples from one family, and their various philosophies of life. Maddie (Jennifer Finnigan) and Ben (Josh Cooke) have been together for nine years but have not yet tied the knot. Maddie's younger sister, Mia (JoAnna Garcia), has just gotten engaged to Casey (Jake Lacy) even though they've only known each other a short while. And the gals' parents, Vicky (Debra Jo Rupp) and Joel (Kurt Fuller), have been married for 35 years, the epitome of the old married couple who know each other inside and out. Over the course of the season, the family prepares for an addition: Mia is pregnant.

True, the multi-camera, laugh track series feels a bit outdated, and the punchlines are a cheesefest, but if you can get past all that (and you might not be able to), you might find Better With You to be fun, mindless comedy fare.
