Started of quite promising but seemed to run out of momentum, however I do get really angry when they cancel these shows on cliffhangers, it just seems so disrespectful to the audience that do enjoy them. They should at least have the decency to wrap things up. But of course now i'm curious on what isaac will do now that he's wake in our world. will he have powers? See more 03/27/2018 Everything season 1 had going for it has now vanished. I found myself drawn to this show due to the premise there was another mysterious world and that we would at some point. At the end of season 1 we got a small taste of that world only for it to be some elusive back story we never quite get the pleasure of experiencing in season 2. Early on we're treated to a plodding struggle at his father's job which slows the series to a snails pace which have no real consequence to the storyline. We see Willa and Holdens relationship develop some more, although it feels heavily forced. We are also treated to a forked plot as Charlie is on a mission, which is outside of the 2nd season plot, that limits her on screen time and disallows us to see the parts of her which made her such and interesting character. Picking up on the ques of season 1, we really don't get a whole lot of meaningful plot development until the last few episodes of the season. This was forgiveable during season 1 due to being able to stream the whole season online before it even came out on tv, making the slow early development acceptable. However with season 2 we are treated to the same style pace which appears to have disenfranchised numorous people as the show saw a drop of 66% of its viewerahip from the 1st season. Although the premise was great, it seems to have been tossed aside for no real reason and the show seems to be suffering because of it, hopefully we'll get a season 3 with better pacing but I won't hold my breath.
