There's an episode showing an obvious iPhone infrared focus and they thought an alien was talking to them. C'mon, guys? Add to that they scan for an FCC frequency EVERY TIME. Why? Did aliens agree to only communicate on an approved frequency? I have no idea how this show made it past one season.
