What puts Big Boys above other comedies of this type is the way that it weaves in the serious stuff: friendship, loss, depression. Go to Full Review

It’s heartbreaking, it’s beautiful, it’s a valuable companion in itself: sitcoms don’t get much more deep and meaningful than this. Go to Full Review

Season three goes bigger and harder, with the last episode splicing reality with what could have been in an incredible but heartbreaking way. Grab the tissues, because you'll need them. Go to Full Review

It’s not often you get to watch a once-in-a-generation show play out in real time but the six-episode swan-song packs a final mighty punch that carves Big Boys out as a timeless comedy that hits all the right notes. Go to Full Review

This closing chapter doesn't quite hit the highs of season two, yet it easily remains one of the best and most important British shows of the last decade. The final episode in particular is a big swing that surpassed our already high expectations. Go to Full Review

Jim P @menzej-6Taxwi-jatzuv 06/03/2025 I just happened upon this series and I’m fully obsessed See more H H @HHHHHH739 05/17/2025 Wonderful series, full of heart, full of humor. Lots of laughs. lots of cries. So many great characters. Very good writing throughout. Very enjoyable. One of the best recent dramedy series. Watch all three seasons. See more Steven R @RT65190421 05/11/2025 Quite possibly one of the best series I’ve ever watched. I really hope the cast/crew see this and know they’ve done something truly magical here. Every season is perfection. I can’t help but wonder if the cast are actually good friends because honestly most of the time it didn’t even seem like acting. Bravo to all involved and just know it will stick with me forever. See more Amy C @RT72214841 03/31/2025 Now this is British drama at its finest. On the surface it's a comedy but it's also a heartbreaking look at mental health issues and it's sometimes tragic outcome. Finely acted by top young actors brings both laughter and tears. Must watch TV series. See more Angus S @RT97819152 02/14/2025 There’s plenty of laughs along the way, and the amazing caste all get a decent spin to show how superb they are. But this all just builds up to the last couple of episodes that are brilliant but harrowing. It also shows what a seriously good actor Jon Pointing is. See more Read all reviews
