The reason to watch is the byplay between the family members, who bubble with yakkety dysfunction, and the moments when the hijinks veer into delirium. Go to Full Review
Graeme Blundell The Australian May 4
[The series] rockets along, so chaotic and with such energy there’s hardly time to laugh out loud. Go to Full Review
Chris Vognar Boston Globe Apr 21
Each 30-minute episode goes down like a sweet-and-hot snack. You look forward to the next burn, and the next upheaval, and, most important of all, the next laugh. Go to Full Review
Marlon Wallace The M Report (WBOC.com) May 13
So much of the show is built on the sibling rivalry between Nicky and Morgan... The show feels like 90-percent sibling bickering where Nicky and Morgan are just going back-and-forth, often yelling and screaming at each other. Go to Full Review
Neely Swanson Beverly Hills Courier May 8
The humor is sly and the characters are well drawn. Even as the story starts leaning to the absurd, which is most of the time, it will still hold you as you smile at the mayhem. Go to Full Review

It’s a high-paced, high-energy caper with just the right hint of sass. Go to Full Review

Janet B @JunoB May 13 Too frenetic. Too shouty. Too implausible, not that it has to be realistic, this is entertainment after all, but it should be plausible within the premise. It was hard to find the comedy under the noise. Big Schitt's Creek and Dan fan but nope, not for me. Two and a half episodes was plenty. See more Richard S @RichieS May 13 Very different than Schitt's but great fun. Bravo Dan. See more PJ S @Pensgirl87 May 9 Laughed out loud before opening credits started. Cast is great, so funny. See more Aaron K @A-aron May 8 More vile Netflix degeneracy. The first two scenes of the show are a gay preacher finishing up a service, then going home and getting railed. Couldn't cancel Netflix fast enough. Never again. See more Pete C @Pete1 May 7 Chaotic and fun. A situation spirals out of control and the all the craziness that ensues. I'm sure a lot of people watching are looking for another Schitt's Creek. This isn't it, though there are a few parallels. I'd probably give it another star, but some of the humor misses the mark, and was hoping to laugh a little more. Overall though, solid effort and I would watch season 2 if they continue the story See more Sinéad W @Sine_86 May 3 Liked the storyline and the acting BUT I didn’t like that it was non stop stress and shouting. And I’m a fan of uncut gems and good time. But this just seemed like they took the stressful dynamic they’d have briefly in every episode of Schitt’s Creek and packed the whole series with it. Just not enjoyable. See more Read all reviews
