Big Mouth's new season is fine, with some flashes of brilliance, and it's hard to actually dislike the show's new episodes. The problem is that it feels like sometimes Big Mouth isn't entirely sure which boundaries to push.

The characters of Big Mouth represent a generation who have to lead while learning, and that's pretty screwed up in its own right. It's also strangely realistic. Big Mouth captures all of that, sometimes in its most embarrassing glory.
