As a pack-a-day smoker for 20+ years, JUUL is the only product that help me quit cigarettes - (for 5+ years now). The entire crew did an excellent job on this series about the e-cigarette company Juul. Everyone that was interviewed in this series gave a detailed description of the rise and fall of the company, which was quite interesting. Having Taylor Lorenz as a commentator calls into question the productions credibility, and doesn't make sense. JUUL employees, regulators, and gen z influencers make sense within the schema of the production. Not sure why a 60 year old lizard person was included? See more Dylan M 10/17/2023 Honestly shocked to read how negative the audience reviews here are. I thought this documentary did a great job showing both sides of the discussion. There were tons of interviews from current and former employees of Juul, sure, but also testimony from teen users who were hospitalized, advocates against vaping, doctors, and others. Like many Netflix docuseries, I felt that it badly needed some editing since it was long and a bit dry at times, but I honestly learned a ton about the history of both the company and the industry, as well as the controversies and issues with how it's grown largely unregulated.
