The story was told well with twists and turns, and the charcters' backgrounds were interesting. It really made me hate certain characters and root for others. Vince's one-liners had me cracking up too. lol I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who is debating whether to watch it through! Their chemistry as two brothers who are both dealing with their own problems feels way more alive than most of the crime plot. Unfortunately, the series too often seems to think that being "dark and serious" automatically makes something good. Eight episodes feel a little too long, the pacing keeps hitting the brakes out of nowhere, and some of the subplots just make the story more cluttered without really adding any weight. Bateman shows a different side of himself, while Law has the kind of charisma that’s impossible to ignore. But their characters can be frustrating at times, not because they’re particularly complex, but because they keep making decisions that make you want to scream at the screen.
