Tv Season Info

The second season of the sitcom about British newscaster Walter Blunt (Patrick Stewart), who has moved to Los Angeles hoping to take over the world of cable news, takes a more serialized approach as it follows Blunt's investigation into an environmental conspiracy that has something to do with the drought that's been plaguing California. Eventually, he runs into Cornelia (Lesley Ann Warren), an old flame who's in town looking into the very same conspiracies. And so the two join forces both professionally and personally. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew are back, but this time around Harry (Adrian Scarborough), Rosalie (Jacki Weaver), Jim (Timm Sharp), Celia (Dolly Wells) and Dr. Weiss (Richard Lewis) end up being more quirky and bizarre than Blunt himself.

It's an almost indefinable amalgam of tone and feeling, but one that I'm happy is back, "right here, right now."

It's funny, smart & charming. I fell in love with it in the first season & the second season didn't disappoint. Patrick Stuart is hilarious & his relationships with his crew are loopy. Season finale was over the top.

I absolutely love this show! The problem is that more people need to know about it. It just needs to be advertised better! I know, if it's renewed, I'll be posting/sharing it like crazy everywhere I can. Whenever I got someone to watch it, [censored] loved it! It's incredible and incredibly funny and good-a top notch production. I looked forward to every episode and wished they were longer. I pray it's given another season and promoted better. Maybe it needs another platform for viewers, like being available on Netflix immediately and featured prominently there or something like that

I love absolutely everything about Blunt Talk. The characters are beautifully insane. Sadly, when I tell people it's on Starz, that's usually a deal-breaker. Please give me one more season, Starz!
