What to Know

Critics Consensus

Mischievously touching hot-button topics while never forgetting to have some cheeky fun, Boarders is authentically situated in the here and now.

Boarders mocks the racial and class politics of modern Britain, which is never as modern as it thinks itself to be. It has a lot of fun and cheek doing it. Go to Full Review

4/5
Even as Boarders goes broader (we get robot wars, mushroom trips, paintball battles), Taylor weaves depth into the shenanigans. Go to Full Review

It’s the complexities of friendship and success that help make “Boarders” such an intriguing watch. Go to Full Review
Ty'Kira Smalls Common Sense Media 04/03/2024
This series balances your standard teen, fish-out-of-water school scenario with heavy topics. Go to Full Review
Joel Keller Decider 03/15/2024
But even if it treads well-worn ground, it does so in a way that’s witty and funny, with just enough drama to let the audience know that the stakes for these five teens are pretty high. Go to Full Review

dede w Nov 23 THIS SHOW WASS SOOOO GOOD 10/10 from America! See more Anna m 10/24/2024 Strong start and middle, the last episode just does a stupid time skip of a few weeks and completely falls off. But really excited for season 2 See more Stettafire 09/21/2024 The ending was a limp fart. It started strong but very quickly became apparent it couldn't get beyond it's initial premise. It tried to break down barriers and instead reinforced harmful stereotypes. It tries to kick the class system while seemingly also defending it. The result is a confused mess that never goes anywhere. None of the characters grow and develop. It's mind-numbingly dull See more Tadiwa M 03/31/2024 Best show on BBC. Funny comedy while there also being serious topics being covered. I would recommend this to anyone. See more Read all reviews
