What to Know

Critics Consensus

Breaking In has a clever premise and no shortage of good ideas, but the jokes and dialogue fall a little flat.

Breaking In isn't memorable in any way, but it's fast-paced and easy to watch, with some amusing secondary characters. Go to Full Review

Breaking In succeeds only in being a stupendously bad half-hour of television that should be charged with breaking and entering into unsuspecting living rooms. Go to Full Review

03/26/2016 Like the first season of The Office, it was good, not great, but you can definitely see the potential! And, what I think they were doing, was showing the potential, so that if it did get picked up for a second season (they were given a 7 episode first season) they would do better and "reach their full potential!" But, yes, it's a good show! Great characters and performances (with Christian Slater as Oz, and Trevor Moore as Josh being standouts. But everyone kills it!) great writing, a great and unique premise, and everything else being pretty great too, all made for a great first season, and a great show! I just wish they would have kept the format it was in.. as the second season kinda lost alot of steam. See more Read all reviews
