Bridgerton follows Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family as she makes her debut onto Regency London’s competitive marriage market. Hoping to follow in her parent’s footsteps and find a match sparked by true love, Daphne’s prospects initially seem to be unrivaled. But as her older brother begins to rule out her potential suitors, the high society scandal sheet written by the mysterious Lady Whistledown casts aspersions on Daphne. Enter the highly desirable and rebellious Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), committed bachelor and the catch of the season for the debutantes’ mamas. Despite proclaiming that they want nothing the other has to offer, their attraction is undeniable and sparks fly as they find themselves engaged in an increasing battle of wits while navigating society’s expectations for their future.

The risqué thrill may have faded, but Bridgerton remains a compulsive episode-turner in this delightful sophomore season.

Weve reviewed so many period dramas that always feel the same theyre always static, laboured and slow. Bridgerton is like the antidote to all of that. Go to Full Review

Bridgerton is taking its first steps toward true inclusion, which inevitably invites a critical eye, but with six books still to go, I hope future characters get the storylines they deserve. Go to Full Review

Jose 8 @jonajona 4h Really liked it the only thing that I didn’t like was the fact that they had to hurt Edwina. I was just not a fan of how far the love triangle was extended. Kanthonys chem is epic and magnetic. Kate is so beautiful and I really liked the subplots See more Kaylee M @Uravitykiss 5h Absolutely amazing. I truly believe that Bridgerton was in its prime with season 2. The yearning, the angst, the chemistry between Kate and Anthony was insane! Truly amazing. See more Ana C @AnaCa 5h The best chemistry ever seen in the Bridgerton saga. Two strong and complex protagonists who, when together, are pure combustion. Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey are extremely magnetic on screen. See more Luna B @moonzmilk 8h Kate and Anthony’s chemistry is unmatched. Will forever be the season to top!
