Bridgerton follows Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family as she makes her debut onto Regency London’s competitive marriage market. Hoping to follow in her parent’s footsteps and find a match sparked by true love, Daphne’s prospects initially seem to be unrivaled. But as her older brother begins to rule out her potential suitors, the high society scandal sheet written by the mysterious Lady Whistledown casts aspersions on Daphne. Enter the highly desirable and rebellious Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), committed bachelor and the catch of the season for the debutantes’ mamas. Despite proclaiming that they want nothing the other has to offer, their attraction is undeniable and sparks fly as they find themselves engaged in an increasing battle of wits while navigating society’s expectations for their future.

Bridgerton continues to creatively thrive in its fourth season,, and while we seem to be moving through the kids, might I suggest a slight deviation to Violet? She’s been exceptional since day one, and this season sets her up perfectly.

Honestly I was not expecting this season to be unique considering the story line was supposed to be a Cinderella story, but they managed to make it completely their own in the bridgerton universe.It felt darker and yet stayed in theme with the bridgerton universe and it set things up for future seasons too. It had so much more heart than all the previous seasons.

They failed to capture main couple love and chemistry well like season 1 and 2 ( done by Chris Van Dusen and not jess Brownell) .. you feel the lack of capturing feelings and moments although it should've been wow moments considering the story and trope

Season 4 in all was very well made, nothing can beat S2 and Queen charlotte, but the multiple storylines and also the peak into the other classes of society was great, The actress who plays Francesca is the Star of this season, I got so emotionally attached to her, yerin ha played sophie so well and Benedict'c character development was splendid as well.

It felt very natural, the scenes with family life and the married characters and the unmarried mingling and advising and supporting one another. This season felt like a real functioning family ensemble show rather than a marriage plot driven story.

I enjoyed this season so much more than I expected to, mainly because my expectations were lower as I am not a fan of Cinderella stories. However, I’m a big fan of upstairs-downstairs stories, and I loved that element of the season.I also loved that the main conflict this season was primarily due to external forces, . I cannot stand when most of the conflict boils down to people who just should have had an open conversation and communicated honestly.That’s a much more enjoyable story for me.
