Burn Notice: Season 2 Reviews

Gets a little ridiculous. Car accidents, shooting up Miami in front of witness, no citizens IDs anyone. They would all be either dead or in jail by now. Houses getting blown up. Lol.

Michael Westen's hunt for the people who burned him heats up in Season 2 of Burn Notice. In an effort to get his life back Michael goes to work for the people who burned him, but secretly he gathers intel on their organization in order to get out from under their control. Tricia Helfer joins the cast as a recurring character and serves as an excellent villain for Michael to match wits with. Also, several interesting guest stars make appearances, including Oded Fehr, Tim Matheson, MC Gainey, and Dina Meyer. Additionally, the writers do a good job at coming up with new cons for Michael and his crew to pull off, while also teasing the larger conspiracy that he's involved in. And, the action sequences are especially well-done and add a lot of energy and excitement to the show. Incredibly strong, Burn Notice delivering a fun and thrilling second season.

Season 2 is where the series hits is stride, and there is a big-budget finale reminiscent of a James Bond film. I thoroughly enjoyed this whole series but the prime years were seasons 1-5, a mixture of james bond, austin powers, and "The Sting" (about con men), this series has it all.

The series become a bit bolder this time around. Tricia Helfer is excellent as Carla.
