Terrific performances, Jessica was amazing and Melanie is fabulous as always... They had an interesting way of showing the timeline, especially because it's a very well known case, and probably most of the viewers knew the final. So you won't get bored seeing. Look into the real characters to see how well they were represented. Just love it.

Terrible and borderline offensive accents. If you can't do a Texas accent you should just speak in normal voice. Jessica/Candys accent is so bad it's distracting

The casting is better than Love & Death. The pacing is dreadfully slow.

A great 5 part series, but maybe could have had a few episodes more. It's set in early 80s America in the post sexual revolution era, with a community holding on to some conservative values in a mostly white suburban neighbourhood. It's predestination protestant vibes at the start end up reeking of entitlement in it's ending, leaving more questions than answers but that's not a bad thing. In that regard it is genius, especially as it exposes the problems in replacing what is a crime of passion with mental health ideology with respect to dissociative identity disorder - almost making that disorder look woke in its justification of murder. It's everything wrong about America and it makes you hate their culture more which is a good thing!

The only person I actually liked was Betty's daughter. I felt like we saw more of her than that of Candy's kids. Betty's daughter was sweet. I'm shocked she was found not guilty. I know it was like self defense but still 41 times to kill your best friend.
