For many, the draw of this series will be a chance to see a diverse cast in an anime format. But if that isn't enough of a draw, the anime contains a ton of fun adventure and puts its own unique spin on well-worn anime tropes.

Among the handful of anime series Netflix recently launched, Cannon Busters is the most entertaining. 7 Seeds and Saint Seiya are more ambitious, but so far, Cannon Busters is simpler, more direct and more fun.

Cannon Buster feels like a mix of many classic, but is still unique in his own way. Netflix team once again delivers a great Anime to the fans.

This show is overall worth a watch! This is definitely an "audiences will love, critics I'll hate" kind of anime due to many cliches present in the plot. However, the creativity presented by the combination of technology and magic outweighs the cons. The pros: Great animation and beautiful action scenes; great use of humor; The cons: Too many pointless side-quests that don't really make any sense; too many "I knock you down and walk away but you're not actually defeated and you attack me from behind..."; the plot involves an apocalypse, which is cool, but fails to capitalize on the innate coolness by following up with simplistic characters and poor decision making.

I tried to get into it but gave up halfway through episode 2. If you take Trigun and writing from an 8-year-old with aspergers and ADHD you get this crap. I see from reviewers " this is the black anime we deserve" sorry guys no it's not move along.

Tri-gun meets cowboy bee-bop with a touch of full metal alchemist thrown in , one of Netflix better efforts.
