Tv Season Info

An in-depth examination of the still-unsolved murder of 6-year-old beauty pageant winner JonBenet Ramsey, who was killed in her family's home on December 26, 1996. The real-life whodunnit, which became a fixture of the tabloids and evening news during the late '90s, is given a second look by the case's former investigators, who re-examine crucial evidence with advanced technology and forensics; conduct new interviews; and develop new theories as to who may have murdered the girl.

It's some problematic pageantry not unlike the dazzling yet disgusting beauty contests that JonBenet competed in while alive.

Reinvestigation of famous case is disturbing, exploitative.

I was bored stiff -- so I can only imagine how viewers with some knowledge and interest in the case will feel watching the investigators go over what must be familiar material.

The Case Of isn't tabloid-y trash, but it also isn't reportorial in the slightest and it has been made without any appreciable aesthetic.

disgusting, exploitative, inaccurate, just a group of people jumping to the same conclusions that ultimately destroyed the possibility of it being solved.

The most honest of all the shows on JonBenet

Absolute garbage. Arbitrarily blames her brother, who was 9 at the time, for her murder. This is despite DNA evidence in her underwear, on her waistband, and under her finger nails belonging to an unknown male, among other pieces of crucial evidence. Then they consult audio tapes that basically contain EVP to *prove* the Ramsey's said a bunch of nonsense. They may as well have had a seance and interviewed JonBenet's ghost, it would probably be more believable. I'm disgusted CBS would even put this trash out in public. I couldn't finish it I was so disgusted. Just a cash grab by the network at the expense of the victim's family.

Would give a 0 if I could. It's just a bad Making a Murderer or Serial remake. Hard to watch
