Catching Killers will satisfy folks looking for some solid true crime reality fare. Go to Full Review

Catching Killers is a better, less sensationalised show than some, but it lacks any of the bite or insight of the - ironically, fictionalised - Mind Hunter. Go to Full Review

This is a weird thing to say about a show involving serial killers, but Catching Killers is a light watch, akin to what you might see on Dateline, 48 Hours or cable true crime shows. Go to Full Review

Lauren L 04/06/2023 Oh goody another series I can't watch because of the rediculous flashes and cuts. It could have been a good show. But nope. Y'all had to edit in those stupid fast cuts with photoflashes every 10 seconds. Awful. Don't try watching it in a dark room unless you want a headache. See more Per S 04/12/2022 A direct from the horse's mouth crime documentary mini series where the investigators in more or less famous serial killer cases from the US and Canada open up about their experience, and with extra servings of honesty. It's interesting to get their perspective, and just like in the movies, obvious that investigating murder truly leaves its marks. Apart from basically all the investigators interviewd getting emotional at a certain point, there's little melodrama, and the dramatizations are made simple and realistic, even with some of the actual people involved. See more 03/01/2022 I really enjoyed watching this show - unlike a lot of true crime stuff I've seen where it's all about the killers and focussing on their lives and how they became murderers, Catching Killers focusses on getting justice for the victims, avoiding any kind of weird/horrified glorification of murderers. If you're new to true crime documentaries, very much would recommend. See more 12/10/2021 This is the kind of true crime content I like to see. Specifically serial killers. It's got everything you can hope for in a serial killer docuseries. The first season follows 3 different killers. The first begins with the Green River killer. The second takes us through the journey of Aileen Wuornos. And lastly, there's a 2-parter spread across 2 episodes following the Happy Face killer in Oregon. Definitely worth checking out if you're a true crime fan — or not. See more 11/19/2021 This was good but it needs more episodes.
