The show was in danger of becoming incestuous. It's more intelligent and relevant although the adolescent, emotional incontinence of some of the doctor characters faced with 'difficult choices' continues to be irritating. The Dr Manning and Dr Halstead characters are particularly bad in this regard. See more 03/15/2021 Season 1-3 was great. Then from the beginning of season 4 it turned political, anti men, anti white. Just constant digs at white men but how perfect women and black people are. Sickening bias but what do expect from mainstream tv now.
