I don't particularly relate to other people's complaints about this show. Critiques of outdated or irrelevant Chicago inside jokes mean nothing to me, as I'm watching from Melbourne, Australia and I have no idea how relevant they are. I love adult animation and will usually lap any new Netflix animation up. And however valid this show's critiques are, I've been telling people the longest time that the LGBT representation I want is to bring it to cartoons, the content I love! Things like Love, Victor and dramatic/ romantic LGBT material is as cringe as its heterosexual counterparts to me, so I genuinely appreciate the organic and meaningful inclusion of two gay men in this show and their depictions. And I really, really love Diane!

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst show ever.

Recently found out about this gem. Loved it! Great heart, very witty and laugh out loud funny. Those familiar with the Windy City will get it right away.

Chicago does not claim her. Naperville might.

I am from Chicago, so may be biased, but the HEART underneath this baudy and funny show is so strong. It's hilarious, but also super touching at times. Reminds me of BIG MOUTH mixed with BOB'S BURGERS.

Jerry Seinfeld has New York, Issa Rae has LA, and now Diane, aka Chicago Party Aunt, has Chicago. All the characters work together to create this absolutely hillarious show. Think of a dirty, R-rated The Simpsons with a more likeable, pervy, funnier, and endearing lead character. If you are from Chicago or know anyone close to you from Chicago, they will appreciate the backdrop and references to iconic places in the city. The show is an all around good time set in one of the greatest cities in the world.

Another failed attempt by Netflix to make shows most don't wanna watch. Horrible animation, forced characters that have so much in common with many other Netflix none animated series. It seems like Netflix is more about ticking checkmarks on diversity, sexuality and gender rather than good storytelling and plots that people want to follow. The only praise this gets is probably from a small group of self righteous self adoring "progressive" Hollywood elite. They can't even get the character design right. It's sad because I really like adult animation comedies and one after another they're fail in this climate
