As I watched six of the show's eight episodes (I'm surprised I made it that far), I wondered what anyone might get out of a program that doesn't attempt to do anything new or interesting in television besides change the scenery. Go to Full Review

Too often the show consists of local references, funny pronunciations, and then a semisweet ending that fails to land convincingly. Go to Full Review

The fun-loving reveler from Twitter is surrounded by so many lovable characters, we can forgive all the Fridge and Malort references. Go to Full Review

It’s safe to say that American cities everywhere are facing some level of this identity crisis—Chicago Party Aunt plays that dynamic for laughs. Go to Full Review

The reason why Chicago Party Aunt doesn't make us cringe like other gag-heavy, allowed-to-curse-on-streaming cartoons we've encountered lately (remember Hoops?) is that there's a beating heart at its center. Go to Full Review

jennifer f @RT18899165 11/22/2022 Was hopeful this would be good(funny) It wasn't. See more 06/07/2022 I like The Aunt in this show! Hope we see more seasons. See more 02/03/2022 What‘s wrong with people? This show is not a 5 stars worth and it's also not a 1 star worth. Make critics and no shitstorms and also no Fan love. Rate it seriously please! Rotten Tomatoes dies if we got a YouTube Mentality here. I was always happy that this site isn't like IMDB. But it seems like this time is over. Nobody will believe you guys if you give the show only 1 star or 5 stars. This show is no masterpiece so no 5 stars worth. But it is also not totally shit, it‘s okay. But okay isn't enough nowadays. But I am happy about every new adult animation series. I hope this series will get a second chance and maybe it will be get better than. Just remember Family Guy or Simpsons Season 1. Its a wonder that these series got renewed, with such a bad start. In comparison it's much better than the old stuff, but compared to new hits like Rick and Morty or Star Trek Lower Decks it's not good enough. It reminds me a bit to Bojack. I didn't like it much, but with newer seasons I felt in love with it. In my opinion a new adult animation series shouldn't invent a whole new genre. Seems like that are the expectations of some users. I am glad that this niche is expanding. There are at all far to little comedy animation series out there. See more 10/31/2021 Why does this exist? See more 09/28/2021 I don't particularly relate to other people's complaints about this show. Critiques of outdated or irrelevant Chicago inside jokes mean nothing to me, as I'm watching from Melbourne, Australia and I have no idea how relevant they are. I love adult animation and will usually lap any new Netflix animation up. And however valid this show's critiques are, I've been telling people the longest time that the LGBT representation I want is to bring it to cartoons, the content I love! Things like Love, Victor and dramatic/ romantic LGBT material is as cringe as its heterosexual counterparts to me, so I genuinely appreciate the organic and meaningful inclusion of two gay men in this show and their depictions. And I really, really love Diane! See more 09/28/2021 If I could give zero stars I would. Worst show ever. See more Read all reviews
