I absolutely enjoyed myself watching this series, every character is so unique. The humour is sometimes dry, sometimes pure ridiculousness. We love that mix! I also love that all lead roles are female. I think season 3 was my favourite! A joy to watch. See more 03/01/2022 Claws has died & doesn't know it's beyond life support. Season one grabbed the viewer with characters absurdly over the top but with a depth that endeared us to them no matter how vile their motives & actions. Just when you were sure the roller coaster had done every twist imaginable some new character or plot emerged more bizarre & frequently grotesque was thrown into the mix that left you salivating for next week's episode. For instance, Roller is kidnapped by a possibly post menopausal nymphomaniac artist whose great work is an entire wall woven together with decades of her collected pubic hair. She keeps him chained as a sex slave & tases him for transgressions.  Ridiculous, yet not altogether unbelievable due to pacing & writing/directing skill. Roller, despicable as he starts out manages somehow to win redemption. Sadly, what made this show great has diminished  exponentially after season 2. The ensemble has been paired down to a core group relying on nothing but the cliché aspects of their characters. I am watching now the way one squeamishly watches a train wreck, unable to look away from the destruction of something that once was a delight to all. See more c f @RT42194895 01/19/2022 In the beginning I liked this show. Even though it was over the top with the gratuitious sex, violence, constant swearing. I tried to ignore all that. Niecy Nash and the whole cast are great actors. This show is an embarrassment for them. I feel it's just gotten worse and i can no longer watch this show. Season 4 has just become a series of sickening scenarios that are hard to watch. They are just thrown in for shock value and have nothing to do with a good script IMHO. That seems to be the way T.V and movies are nowadays. Sure people have sex and swear and yes there is violence in this world. But it is overdone and believe me .. a little bit goes a long way. Who are these people writing this show? Instead of crafting good lines, they took a lazy way out and filled in the blanks with disgusting crap. I just tried to watch epi 2 of the the 4th season and decided to quit watching and wont be watching any more . See more 12/31/2021 Niecy Nash is a force of nature, but Desna spends the first four episodes of the season spinning her wheels, talking the talk, but not walking the walk, until she actually kills a secondary character so weak, she could be labeled as road kill. It was the first moment I thought about quitting the show and this show has had so many jump the shark moments, Henry Winkler could be doing the openers. But everything else works so well and the actors gel like a family. Here's hoping for a strong last few episodes and that Desna finds the mojo that Nash will absolutely "nail." Get it? "Claws."
