It's a dark and unsettling thriller. Go to Full Review

Don't assume from these extracts that Clique is a slow, talky, discursive show. It's mostly a sly thriller with little time for in-depth debates about discourse. It smothers its political message in suspense. Go to Full Review
Julia Raeside Guardian 06/19/2019
Clique is a madly seductive thriller that, once you get past the glare of all that young, perfect skin, will hook you whatever age-box you happen to tick. Go to Full Review

Although Clique may leave you feeling cold to start with, persevere. The pay-off is worth it. Go to Full Review

Never mind student loans -- the millennial generation will need government grants for liver transplants. Go to Full Review
Caroline Preece Den of Geek 06/19/2019
Clique lacks the levity and playfulness that make these shows so addictive. Despite this, there are hints that the series will go to some dark and interesting places and it's an effective attempt at interpreting the young adult thriller for UK audiences. Go to Full Review

Kasey M. @kayseexo Jan 16 so good one of my favs See more Gabriel Z 02/20/2022 Uses every trick in the book to hook you: tension, mystery, detective work, a bunch of creepy and cliche murder mystery events hinting at a wider mystery. You try to guess what the real story is here. And finally, in the end, it turns out there isn't one. It also makes no sense and never tells you anything about the money laundering because it wants to pretend it knows about the business of rich people even though it doesn't. Money laundering is the most uncreative, simple and boring idea you could come up with for an investigative mystery like this. Behind the polished execution there is no story. There's a cool speech about feminism in the first episode so that's something I guess. Just a money spinner show, write a story next time. See more 05/30/2021 It has some simple plots Twists, but also some ones you didn't see coming. The first two episodes are a bit slow but after that it picks up and is fast paced. See more eden s 03/15/2021 The first two episodes dragged really on. I even skipped a few scenes, but since so many people recommended it to me I kept watching and it really picks up the pace later on. The finale is a bit lack luster, so for me only episodes 3 and 4 made it worth watching. The cast is great except for the lead character Holly. I'm not sure if the fault is only on the actress, but for most of the time she's sleepwalking with a blank stare through the plot with occasional meltdowns. I just have no connection or empathy for her at all. So it's a shame that she is also the lead for season 2. See more 08/10/2020 Holly's concern for her best friend is maddening. I understand she wants to help but geez-louise, Lay off some-She's made it perfectly clear she's uninterested in her help. The show draws you in but the main character is agitating with her obsession. It's like corporate mean girls or something. See more 07/03/2020 Why has there been no word about a 3rd season? This show really deserves it. Good characters ( especially Rachel, and Holly), and dialogue, lots of fun, and also a good mystery in both seasons. I just don't get it. I mean for it to so good, and saying either way if there will be a season 3. I mean they basically left us, the audience hanging. Strange to say the least. See more Read all reviews
