It’s all well-worn, but I’ll watch Mantegna in anything. Go to Full Review

Evolution is a lively and competent extension of a recently ended series, but little more, and it’s certainly not a leap forward. Go to Full Review

In what could be considered its 16th season, Criminal Minds accomplishes a difficult feat for any long-running procedural: It finds a way to add new (and somewhat surprising) layers to characters who have graced the screen for more than a decade. Go to Full Review

A solid continuation of the procedural... Go to Full Review

... The story is definitely a juicy one, and the Criminal Minds cast is just too good to not be able to do some of their best work with such an involved story. Go to Full Review

Of all the long-running CBS (and NBC) police procedurals, Criminal Minds is the best among them, and in serialized form without ads or language restrictions, it’s even better. Go to Full Review

CJ P. @TCPJR Jun 5 Penelope is unbearable to watch so I quit watching the show, again! I can not do a 30-50ish old Shirley Temple dress wearing hacker who thinks she is an FBI profiler. The writers messed up Evolution just the same as they messed up the previous 15 seasons with having this character look and act this on a show, that could have been one of the best of all time! It's insulting... See more Cali G @RT15990857 Sep 11 I loved the original series, but I can't stand this bizarre incarnation full of dragged out, implausible plot lines, soapy personal drama, multiple cringe-worthy rushed romances with no chemistry, and the characters all suddenly taking turns behaving immature and incompetently unprofessional. Completely abandoning the case of the week format was a mistake. The giant networks and conspiracies just feel completely ridiculous and tiring after a while. Some of the cast were doing their best to try to hold together the mess of a plot, but some felt like they'd given up and were phoning it in. I don't blame them, it had to be hard having something you've put years of your life into turning into a parody of itself. Sad dissolution of a great show. See more J W @RT83661706 Jul 10 Criminal Minds has gone from I can't wait must watch to Criminal Minds Evolution turn it off. They canned JJ's wholesome family to focus on Tara's lesbian love life the past two seasons. They begin an episode with her & her lesbian lover having sex. Another episode they act like 13 year old adolescent girls. Another episode Tara gets shot and it's all about her relationship. The plots have become more focused on Tara's relationship and less about what the original Criminal Minds was. Enough already! See more Vanessa 1 @Somerfugl 08/25/2024 Don't enjoy the new vibe... the darker coloring is not my thing... Also: I MISS Spencer 😭 And: Why didn't Penelope and Luke work out? I was so happy for them at the end of Season 15 and now you're telling me, they are back to zero? Come on... Other than that it's fine 🤷 The "Shut down the BAU" Trope is kinda overused by now though... See more Austin B @RT05512808 08/08/2024 One of the collest overhauls for a tv series continuation ever, especially after such a long run. This refreshing new take and format brings the family of Behavioral Analysis Agents back with a new foe unlike any other, a creepy and intense new serial killer concept, a network of killers sharing and swaping ideas, and a sinister mastermind at the forefront. A brilliant new character, the only thing bothering me is the lack of Simmons and of course everyones favorite profiler, Spencer Reid. See more Laura S @RT89145578 07/28/2024 I was a big fan of the original season. Evolution is dull, the storyline has been long winded and boring and the writers appear to have forgotten who the characters actually are. Save some time and avoid this one!!
