Critic Reviews for Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior Season 1

All Critics (26) | Top Critics (15)

Overall, this show is overkill. Literally.

Feb 8, 2011 | Rating: 2.5/5 | Full Review…

I hate the new CBS show Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. But that doesn't mean you'll hate it.

Suspect Behavior already seems to be running on empty.

Sadly, the game on CM:SB feels too often like we've seen it before and we know what's coming.

Feb 16, 2011 | Rating: 2/5 | Full Review…

Competent spinoff, but the formula tends to wear like a straitjacket on Whitaker.

Man, there's just no good.

There's no sense of the human touch here other than in glimpses of Whitaker's performance.

Feb 16, 2011 | Rating: 1.5/5 | Full Review…

Suspect Behavior feels hopelessly gray and flat.

Feb 16, 2011 | Rating: 2/5 | Full Review…

I don't expect to ever watch this show regularly, I could easily see myself bingeing on it if I found a rerun marathon of it on some cable channel while visiting my parents.

Feb 17, 2011 | Full Review…

Sadly it could go wrong in a lot of ways, the biggest of these being a lack of character introduction or team strengths/weaknesses dynamics.

Feb 17, 2011 | Rating: 2.4/5 | Full Review…

I don't have many kind things to say about the new Criminal Minds spin-off,.

Feb 16, 2011 | Full Review…

As anyone who has used an old photocopy machine knows, a copy of a copy of a copy is rarely as good as the original. Suspect Behavior comes across as a show in search of a purpose beyond the obvious brand extension.

Audience Reviews for Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior: Season 1

  • Mar 09, 2017
To be honest, I didn't finish the entire season, I just HAD to rate and review this show. So the Criminal Minds franchise is obviously a lot to live up to, and this spinoff fell so shirt. I can tell what the writers were going for with the characters but it just didn't come off AT ALL. DO NOT WATCH THIS SHOW! NOTE: "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" is definitely worth checking out if you're really into Criminal Minds and crime shows in general, especially if you're sick of America-centric shows.

This film is the equivalent of badness, predictble, dumb and just straght out insulting to you as viewer, recycling old plotlines, terrible dialougue and cinamatography which is ok-ish to bad, depending on the episode. There is not one scene in the episodes I've which I didn't have any problem with, and the worse is that all the episodes are the same, bad things happens, they investigate it but don't have a good clue, bring in someone close to the murderer, they get lead, something bad is about to happen, they kill the guy. And the dumbness in it is that it often in the dumbest way possible, the murderer in one episode runs away, 20 meter away and the chick shoots him straight through the head, while the guy is unarmed, all that happens is "good shot". Please do yourself a favor and never watch this show
