The plot was really interesting and the character development was so deeply rooted. I feel as though I can’t understand why on earth this would get cancelled when it has the potential to pull a large amount of streamers to Prime Video, especially in the 18-30 year old demographic. I really hope that as more people watch this that Prime Video considers filming and producing a Season 2. There were a LOT of loose ends that were not tied up that creates plenty material for a second season. The ending to the first season was such a let down knowing there isn’t a second. But, I wanted to say I never saw this series as a reboot of the movie, it was obvious to me that central themes from the original inspired this series. I really enjoyed it; the characters have depth and layers to their intentions and actions, the plot line was amazing, the college setting was refreshing, and not many tv series revolve around the culture of college Greek life. I disagree with the stakes being low, I think they’re pretty compelling considering Caroline’s manipulation is ruining so many people’s lives, and better yet, the audience is convinced she’s going to get away with all of it. I feel like if you accept the fact that this show isn’t meant to reboot the original movie, it’s actually quite good and substantial. So sad they canceled season 2. Bring it back. It’s truly disappointing, all the posts I’ve read about them cancelling the show. I feel like prime always does this though. They out to stop making shows if they can’t see them through. See more Amelia M 02/28/2025 This is the perfect movie to be adapted to a TV series. I think they need to be careful of their casting and storyline but this could be amazing if done right.
