Tv Season Info

The error-strewn world of former "Seinfeld" creator Larry David returns in this third helping of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episodes. No one puts their foot in it quite like David, with his successful life as a multimillionaire comic constantly tarnished by mishaps and gaffes. Cheryl Hines returns as Larry's long-suffering wife, as does his manager Jeff Garlin, and best friend Richard Lewis. Some of the insurmountable obstacles careering unstoppably towards David include a mentally unbalanced nanny, an Alanis Morissette concert, Martin Scorsese, and, perhaps the highlight of the show, the rapper Krazee-Eyez Killa.

The comedy is so perversely, overwhelmingly rich in absurdities, the mind is likely to break the episodes down into one big database of gags, characters and stories.

While The Sopranos has rightfully garnered all the hype for Sunday, keep tuned in for Curb Your Enthusiasm, easily the funniest half hour on TV -- and the most underrated as well.

There is not a more infuriating and self-involved yet comically rich character on television than Larry David. His near-disdain for those outside his inner circle makes Curb Your Enthusiasm a hilarious blend of the bleak and the brilliant.

Curb is as funny, in its pulling-teeth-with-a-pliers kind of way, as anything on TV.

One of the joys of watching Curb Your Enthusiasm - and the joys are many - is playing Spot the Seinfeld-isms.
