Curb Your Enthusiasm: Season 3 Photos

Tv Season Info

The error-strewn world of former "Seinfeld" creator Larry David returns in this third helping of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episodes. No one puts their foot in it quite like David, with his successful life as a multimillionaire comic constantly tarnished by mishaps and gaffes. Cheryl Hines returns as Larry's long-suffering wife, as does his manager Jeff Garlin, and best friend Richard Lewis. Some of the insurmountable obstacles careering unstoppably towards David include a mentally unbalanced nanny, an Alanis Morissette concert, Martin Scorsese, and, perhaps the highlight of the show, the rapper Krazee-Eyez Killa.

Critic Reviews for Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 3

All Critics (10) | Top Critics (7)

What's fantastic about Curb Your Enthusiasm is that 99 percent of it is improvised.

A good cast is only half of what makes Curb 3 so good. The show has matured to move away from the single, self-enclosed episode format to offer an overarching storyline.

Jun 8, 2018 | Rating: 8/10 | Full Review…

Think of "Curb Your Enthusiasm'' as 100-proof, undiluted "Seinfeld'' -- meaner, funnier...with social embarrassments so extreme it's sometimes painful to watch.

Jun 8, 2018 | Full Review…

The comedy is so perversely, overwhelmingly rich in absurdities, the mind is likely to break the episodes down into one big database of gags, characters and stories.

Jun 20, 2014 | Full Review…

It's just a darn funny show put together by proverbial consummate old pros. Regardless...each episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" flies by in a dizzying blur of neurotic delight.

Jun 13, 2018 | Full Review…

One of the show's slyest comic feats is the feeling of displacement it produces in the viewer by putting people like David, Michael York and Ted Danson in a room together and showing what would happen if they invested in a restaurant.

While The Sopranos has rightfully garnered all the hype for Sunday, keep tuned in for Curb Your Enthusiasm, easily the funniest half hour on TV -- and the most underrated as well.

Jun 20, 2014 | Rating: 4/4 | Full Review…

There is not a more infuriating and self-involved yet comically rich character on television than Larry David. His near-disdain for those outside his inner circle makes Curb Your Enthusiasm a hilarious blend of the bleak and the brilliant.

Curb is as funny, in its pulling-teeth-with-a-pliers kind of way, as anything on TV.

One of the joys of watching Curb Your Enthusiasm - and the joys are many - is playing Spot the Seinfeld-isms.

Audience Reviews for Curb Your Enthusiasm: Season 3

  • Jun 27, 2019
If you made it to season 3 of Curb you clearly like what's on offer and deservedly so!
  • Mar 25, 2019
Larry David's ability to take mundane topics and create brilliant and hilarious moments from them is one of the many reasons why Curb is so successful as well as the talent that he surrounds himself with.
  • Jan 29, 2019
Season 3 of Curb Your Enthusiasm follows Larry David as he works with investors to open a restaurant in L.A. He predictably makes things harder for himself and his partners. The show starts to resemble the zany story lines of Seinfeld.

    Continues being great.
  • Dec 07, 2013
