We didn’t get the ending we hoped for, we got the ending we needed, as tragic as it is. I am man enough to admit that I had to sit and process what happened for 20 minutes while crying my eyes out. The animation is great, and the voice acting is good too. All the characters are well-written, complemented by amazing music. While it might be a little hard to understand sometimes, if you pause and think about it for a while, it starts to make sense. The show also has excellent plot twists. You might even want to have tissues nearby, as this anime hits hard emotionally. I have to warn you, though—there is a lot of blood and a few intimate scenes. Still, the show is amazing, and it is probably one of my favorite anime series ever. I highly recommend it!
