Not usually a huge fan of anime, however this is one that I cannot deny the truth: it's one of a kind. Absolutely nails it and had me hooked within the first 10 minutes. Do yourself a favor and give this a shot!

I really don't find myself investing past the first couple episodes of anything these days... but decided to give this a go and was absolutely hooked. Binged the lot. Absoloute must see.

As a not an anime lover, this was enjoyable, pretty visuals, love the fact that anything remarkably close to plot armor is missing completely and the show is not afriad to let most of its "cast" just d1e. Unfortunately, in my opinion its also to short and very fast paced for me to create a deeper connection to its characters, so I didnt really care about those passing away. In the end, if you like anime, I believe this is one of the better ones

Let's start with the negative: I did not like the graphics at the beginning: it's a bit far from my taste. Plus, we don't see enough of the city, and the few we see feel too empty. Because we want to see more, Much more. OK, we get the reference to Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Appleseed, Gunnm or Shadowrun. But this show has its own personality. It invents something new. The story does not try to please anyone; it's a damned roller coaster and we love it. Cannot wait for what the other seasons are cooking for us.

As someone that usually doesn't watch anime i found this story so intriguing that it allowed me to overcome my own dislike towards the type of graphics (definitely high quality for its field anyway) and left me amused with the character developent, the good dialouges and a scenario wich was really well depicted, maybe even better than what the videoghame itself was able to do. Also props to all the really good music i heard. It's not a timeless masterpiece or anything like that but it did the best it could with what it had and i respect that. A must watch even if you're not into anime

Definitely in my top favorite 5 shows of all time and that's saying something.. hated how it ended but after watching the series about 8 times I finally learned to love the show as a whole. life doesn't always end happy and to think it does is a delusion. It does break my heart how things turned out because you become super attached to the characters and to watcha things unfold like they do tears you apart emotionally.. I pray somehow or someway they find a way to continue this story..
