Season two of Da Vinci's Demons is going to be an action focused tour through history with the volume amped up to deafening levels. This is going to be one hell of an action packed, if not historically accurate (because Dracula and bazooka), ride.

What it lacked in thematic substance it more than made up for in content and did a great job of building on the energy of the conclusion to Season 1 while also setting up the journey for Season 2.

Da Vinci's Demons tells a compelling and well-crafted story, with religious drama, political intrigue and a cast of strong characters swirling around Da Vinci, one of the most creative people who ever lived.

The show returns for a second season that ups the ante on swashbuckling and arcane mythology, while continuing to cleverly use the famed artist/inventor's innovations as a blueprint.
