"Dallas" is the saga of the Ewing family and its massive oil empire. Patriarch Jock has three sons. The eldest is J.R., the relentless CEO of Ewing Oil. Less obviously malicious are Bobby and Gary. Over a decade-plus of backstabbing, inbreeding, lust and greed, dozens of characters enter and exit the "Dallas" universe.

An exceedingly weak and muddled showing for the climax of supposedly one of the great mysteries in TV history. But then Dallas really hasn't been up to form in any of this season's episodes. Go to Full Review
Howard Rosenberg Los Angeles Times 04/29/2021
Watching Friday's show was like getting your pocket picked on payday... The show's strategy obviously was to fool everyone by fooling no one, catch everyone off guard by catching no one off guard, deliver the obvious, the expected, the uninteresting. Go to Full Review

Let's face it, Dallas didn't make a shambles of the TV record-book on the strength of its dramatic excellence... No, Dallas did it with a gimmick, a clever, but hardly original gimmick. Go to Full Review
