L. F @RT68678650 Jul 18 It was a good concept, but sadly something was missing for me. It was a very fast paced production which left little room to really understand the processes that the choreographers went through & explore why they made certain decisions with their showcases. The high energy dances all started to look very samey to my untrained eye! It very quickly turned into a popularity contest from episode 1, with some highly opinionated dancers taking much of the limelight for themselves, dressed up as "feedback" for the choreographers. Stopped watching after Akira, who had an inspirational and telling dance, was the first to be eliminated with ZERO votes out of 100! How can that be possible? Not only is it exciting and compelling to watch but the production is really well done and the pacing is great. The creators give you just enough backstory without in the inundating us.. Repetition is it at a minimum and they get on with the show without boring interludes designed to elongate and hide a lack of content. Great show can't wait for second season. See more EpixEntertainment i @RT50671716 09/19/2023 I stopped watching as soon as Rex was voted out. He is the only reason i would recommend someone tuning in. Ridiculous. He was the most creative, dynamic choreographer. There were, of course, great performances orchestrated by the more experienced choreographers. But the only performances that I was compelled to watch more than once, and several times at that were the ones by choreographed by Rex. The first one just blew me away!! And the second one was absolutely entertaining. The dancers should be embarrassed for their inability to recognize art that is unexpected and innovative. Seemed kinda like a bit of bullying, and pandering to the established choreographers. The rude, outspoken dancer had a clear vendetta. I hope Rex gets discovered by someone who recognizes not only his dance talent but his HUGE potential as a brilliant choreographer. See more Read all reviews
