nowhere near as smart or as subversive as Crouch appears to think it is, but it is pulpy watchable entertainment even if it makes you want to read the novel for hopefully something with a little more bite

Season 1 is excellent. Playing multiple characters within one must be challenging. Concept is intriguing yet wish we had more science about how the box works; though I know it’s science fiction. Daniel’s family issue in season 2 takes away from this futuristic idea

Mindless. Boring. No likeable or relatable characters. Scientifically flawed beyond belief (or any degree of credibility). How this show has received such a high score on both the tomato and popcorn meters is just not believable. Primary school level story telling. One of the worst tv series I have seen. I tried hard - 6 episodes, with my toes curled in embarrassment. Just dreadful. If you have even a basic level of elementary physics look elsewhere.

A physicist has his life hijacked when an alternate version of himself switches parallel realities with him. It’s an interesting concept, but the universe jumping gets a little drawn out as Jason struggles to find his way home.. until he finally does.

I'm usually skeptic about TV series and movies based on novels as they rarely live up to the print version, but this show is elite, maybe even better than the book. It doesn't hurt that Blake Crouch is behind it all, making sure it's true to his original story and even going beyond the written word. This is as good as it gets.
