See more Tina K @tinaksf 12/15/2023 I thought I'd seen most post-apocalyptic shows out there, so I was surprised to discover this one. I liked the series and ended up binge-watching it over a couple of days. IMO it has too much gun violence. The quality of the production, fantastic acting, story and even some of the humor kept me engaged. I wanted to know what caused the deaths and I cared about several of the characters. I read there won't be a season three – oh well. It would have been great to have a tighter wrap-up for some of the loose ends. See more 02/11/2018 LOST meets The Stand, told with the flavors of modern AMC tv series a la Breaking Bad. Rooster Teeth proves again it can tell and create unique new breeds of story with this show. Season 1 is most like LOST in introduction to a band of random survivors of a "sleepapocalypse" whom are all that's left of humanity. By Day 5 many band together in order to solve just what is going on leading to clashes and confrontations as not everyone left is someone that can be trusted. See more Read all reviews
