Inspired by the zombie universe of George A. Romero, "Day of the Dead" takes place in a small town where an ordinary day takes a terrifying turn when the dead begin to rise. Townspeople Mayor Bowman is up for reelection, Jai is hours away from his wedding, Luke has a party to attend, Lauren is going to lead a funeral, McDermott has a mystery to solve, and Cam has a lawn to mow. This ode to Romero's flesh-eaters is a reminder that sometimes all it takes to bring people together is a horde of hungry zombies trying to rip them apart.

Lo ultimo que habíamos tenido de la franquicia es la película "Bloodline" y esta temporada al lado de ese esperpento parece una maravilla. 2. Sus "defectos" en realidad son lo que siempre fue: todo muy clase B, flojas actuaciones, mucha sangre, muchos efectos prácticos, humor negro, maneras ingeniosas de matar zombies e inconsistencias varias (por dar solo un ejemplo en los primeros capítulos los zombies son imparables, no mueren y solo se los puede retrasar lastimándole las piernas mientras que en los últimos capítulos caen como moscas, 2 balazos y a otra cosa). Pero como dije la saga siempre fue esto, es lo que esperaba ver cuando llegue y es lo que entrego así que no puedo decir que este desilusionado. ¿Esperaba mas? Francamente no y eso esta bien.
