Critic Reviews for DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 6

As always with the start of a new Legends season, there's the energy that comes with a new pure-chaos problem, this time the scattering of a whole shit-ton of aliens (and maybe some other beings?) through the timeline.

"Ground Control to Sara Lance" would be a 9.5 or a 10 on any other TV show, but because Legends of Tomorrow routinely does so much bananapants shit, it's only an 8. But praise Beebo, it's a high 8.

It was a fantastically fun hour with the introduction of a new team member, a proposal, seriously cool aliens, and character moments for just about everyone. But no one really expected anything different from this show, did they?

We're pushing off into strange, new directions. That is an accomplishment in and of itself.

May 4, 2021 | Rating: 4/5 | Full Review…

Legends can always fall back on its lovable band of misfit heroes. Even with the show down to a mere two holdovers from the original cast, that strong, rich group dynamic remains the show's greatest weapon.

May 3, 2021 | Rating: 7/10 | Full Review…

While we're still a little tepid on aliens being the big bad of the season, "Ground Control to Sara Lance" is a solid enough opener to keep us interested -- and the introduction of Spooner promises a much-needed shakeup in the roster.

The show is dead, bury it. Consider this mercy.
  • May 23, 2021
There is no real storyline left to pursue and the show is struggling needlessly while trying to make it a bit about forced political and social issues that are not really relatable for a wide majority of television viewers. It has become hard to watch and almost impossible to enjoy. Was a very good one till the second season and was still much enjoyable till season 4. Not any more.

It became blatant parody and copy of other shows and movies. Does not have anything original. The best characters like Sara Lance are sidelined or removed, so goofy clones and creepy dudes have the main story. There are no real character development, just silly stunts and it is not even funny. They try to be so woke, but actually are not doing any good representation. Cartoon Network shows are better than this and have more edge. The actors are made to act over the top and exaggerated. The dialogue and plot is so corny. They lack any real mistery, consequences or development. I would think that some horny teenagers with no real life experience woul love it.
